The Curricula Development Stakeholders Forum for the Department

Curriculum development requires active and direct involvement from the stakeholders. The CIT Department held a stakeholders forum on curricular development where three curricula (PhD in Information Technology, BSC Computer science, and BSC Cyber Security) were discussed. Among the stakeholders were Lecturers from the University of Embu, Lectures from Kenyatta University, Lecturers from Murangโ€™a University, members of Embu University ICT, members from the banking sector, and postgraduate students among others. The event was graced by the chairman of CIT department Dr. David Muchangi Mugo. The event was held on 5th July 2022.

PhD Entry Requirements

A Master's degree in a relevant area is required for admission into PhD programmes in Computer Science and Information Technology.
