We are thrilled to share that we have launched the Microsoft Research Global PhD Fellowship and are accepting nominations and proposals.

The global program identifies and empowers the next generation of exceptional computing-research talent. We are looking for the best and brightest talent and celebrate individuality. We invite and encourage candidates to come as they are and do what they love.

Microsoft recognizes the value of diversity in computing and aims to increase the pipeline of talent receiving advanced degrees in computing-related fields to build a stronger and inclusive research community. We currently offer fellowships in Asia-Pacific, Canada and the United States, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

University nominations for Canada, Europe, and the United States are due June 7, 2022; while student proposals for Africa, Middle East, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand are due on June 7, 2022, and for Asia-Pacific June 10, 2022.
