CIT Students shine as First Runner-Up at Karatina University Genius Lab Hackathon

We are proud to share that our students from the Department of Computing and Information Technology emerged as First Runner-Up at the Karatina University Genius Lab Hackathon.
This achievement reflects the creativity, innovation, and hard work of our students, as well as the department’s commitment to practical, skills-based learning.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Chair of Department, Dr. Faith Mueni, for her leadership and continuous support in nurturing innovation, and to faculty members Dr. Fortine Mata, and Dr. Jeniffer Jepkoech for their guidance and mentorship to the students throughout the process.
We also appreciate Karatina University for providing a platform that brings together young innovators to solve real-world challenges.
